We have certified American Red Cross Instructors to provide training in the following courses:

 

Professional Rescuer CPR, Standard First Aid, Adult/Child/Infant CPR

 

Our organization works with Indian Health Service as certified Community Health Representatives to provide health care services for the Jicarilla Apache Nation. Some of the services we provide:

 

Diabetes Project - provide awareness, prevention and screening workshops

 

Health Education - develop health activities and educational seminars  for community and schools

 

Environmental Health -  offer services involving safe food handling education and home safety.

 

Audiology - work with local IHS clinic in arranging appointments for Audiologists and other hearing services.

 

Optometry - provide assistance with IHS involving eye appointments, and prescription glasses services.

 

Transportation - offer local transportation for Jicarilla Service Unit patients without means of transportation.

 

Commodity Program - work with the state of New Mexico to provide a temporary food assistant program.
